     Founder/ Director of Operations 

                I am the founder and visionary for In Arms Reach Childcare Services, LLC. Early in my life, I was marginalized by members of my family and the urban community. I was a teenage single mom of two with scarce adult support. I made a commitment to my children and myself to forge through perceived limitations. I gained employment while obtaining my degree. I graduated from Touro College with a BS in Human Services. During the time I spent self-constructing, around me a horrific drug era brewed in Harlem. 

             Children were being neglected, abused, and emotionally starved. They were frequently placed into the foster care system and lacked adequate childcare. The unjust treatment and immediate trauma the children endured hit close to home. The feeling of abandonment, isolation, and fear instantly connected me to their plight. I could relate not only personally but my educational training altered me to naturally want to protect, nurture, educate, and inspire them directly. I became a foster parent and adoptive parent of 10 children. I am the owner of a family daycare providing traditional childcare ages 0-12 years old.  In Arms Reach Childcare Services has been created to provide lifetime supportive extensions that I was once unable to access. The relations built while providing safe and dependable childcare will be a continuous resource. In addition, we offer transportation and supervised visit for children in the foster care system. In 2023, I will be opening a placement home for respite, emergency, short- and long-term care. I am passionate and committed to being an impactful device for the children I serve. I will continue to encourage those to step out of the box of inclusion forms by undesired circumstances and stereotypes. 

             I defied barriers and proved my goals were obtainable. I am grateful for the ability to care for others with consistent determination, experience, and trainings. They abetted me through my personal journey and allows me to flourish while fulfilling my passion.  My desire extends to expand and offer many more children safe, positive, nurturing, supportive, and educated extensions. Provided the opportunity and support from the community children and families will receive care that fosters their growth. Through In Arms Reach Childcare Services, LLC children will have skilled and devoted professionals that will contribute to their success. They will not be afforded solely a childcare provider or transportation escort but a permanent team leader to assist them in their journey to the finish line!
